Concentration formula
Sodium per litre = sodium per serving ÷ water in millilitres × 1,000. Example: 300 mg mixed into 475 mL is approximately 632 mg/L.
Cost formula
Cost per serving = container price ÷ servings. Cost per 1,000 mg sodium = cost per serving ÷ sodium per serving × 1,000.
What this calculator does not do
It performs label arithmetic. It does not recommend an intake, assess dehydration, or decide which concentration is appropriate for a person or medical condition. Use the exact current label and seek qualified guidance when individual advice is needed.
