Editorial methodology

How we test electrolytes

SALTBLAST uses two evidence lanes: documented first-hand use and label-based research. We never describe a researched product as tested, and personal experience is not presented as medical evidence.

01

Identify the exact product

We record the brand, variant, format, market, serving size, and the packaging or official page used as the source.

02

Verify the label

We capture sodium and other listed nutrients per labelled serving, the mixing directions, warnings, and the date checked.

03

Normalize comparisons

We compare like with like. Derived values show their serving or fluid basis instead of hiding the arithmetic.

04

Document real use

When a product is tested, we record who used it, how it was obtained, the use context, and what was—and was not—assessed.

05

Separate fact from observation

Manufacturer facts, SALTBLAST calculations, and subjective experience are identified separately.

06

Recheck and correct

Formulas change. Material updates receive a new review date, and factual corrections are documented rather than silently disguised as freshness.

What testing does not prove

An individual experience cannot establish a universal health effect, ideal sodium intake, or treatment result. Needs vary with diet, activity, environment, health conditions, and medication. SALTBLAST provides educational comparisons, not individualized medical advice.
